As a special way to come together to honor the Winter Solstice (December 21st) and the Full Moon (December 19th) right before the solstice, we would like to invite you to join us for a lantern walk through the trees on our wooded trail. We will gather together at the parking area, walk with our lanterns lighting the night to the field and into our labyrinth. Once we have all gathered, we will hold a special solstice ceremony and sing This Little Light of Mine, for those who wish to join in. After our walk back from the field, there will be a campfire on the lawn by the house with hot cider, cocoa and tea as well as homemade crafts for sale. Be sure to dress warmly, in boots and snowpants if there is snow!

One ticket is for one vehicle only.

This is a fundraising event to help raise money for our Youth Scholarship Fund to support Youth Nature Programs at Through the Trees. We are so grateful for your contribution! Below is the suggested Cost per Vehicle:

$30 (1-3 people per vehicle)

$60 (4-5 people per vehicle)

$90 (6+ people per vehicle)

Cancellation/Refund Policy: While this event may be held in snowy precipitation, if Through the Trees determines that the weather makes driving unsafe, we may cancel. In that case, we will offer a snow date of Tuesday, December 21st. Refunds will not be given if the event is held in undesirable weather, or if the snow date must be used. Refunds to ticket holders will be honored until 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 15th, after which refunds will not be provided. Any refund given up until 5:00pm on December 15th will be minus a 10% processing and administrative cost (i.e. a $30 ticket would be refunded $27). Through the Trees reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event for any reason. Please only one vehicle per ticket.
