In this class, Registered Maine Guides will share how to construct a shelter using rope, a tarp and natural material in your surroundings. Various types of shelters will be discussed and demonstrated. Participants will then be able to work on constructing their own shelters. This class is ideal for families (children of all ages welcome!) and adults. The entire class will be held outdoors, and we will be walking through the woods for about a quarter mile. Please be sure to dress for warmth and with appropriate footwear. Outhouse style bathrooms are available.

Payment is transferable but non-refundable, unless Through the Trees must cancel due to extreme weather conditions.
