In this class, the group will prepare and cook a soup with the 3 Sisters (squash, beans and corn), discussing techniques for successfully cooking over an open campfire. The history, stories and legends surrounding this trio of plants will be shared, including the reasons behind this companion planting. A special element of gratitude aligning with the symbolism of the 3 Sisters will be woven into class, sharing a moment of gratitude practice together. All participants will share a meal together, tasting this delicious soup! Wild Tea will also be brewed over the fire and share. Please be sure to bring a mug, bowl and spoon! Families and all ages welcome. This class takes place outdoors with outhouse bathroom available.
