Join Through the Trees Guides Patrick and Emily to talk mushrooms! They will share some basic information about how mushrooms grow, where they can be found as well as some mushroom species that can usually be found in this area. Make a spore print, and take a walk on our wooded trail to look for any signs of fungi growth and the places where they can often be found later on in the season. Each family or individual participant will get to take home their own Lion's Mane mushroom kit to grow indoors ($30 value)! This class is open to all ages, families welcome. This class takes place outdoors. Outhouse bathrooms are available.

Classes are non-refundable. Payment may be transferred to another class if you need to cancel. Classes are usually held in light rain or snow. If class is cancelled due to more extreme weather or other unsafe conditions, a makeup date may be offered or payment will be refunded. If a make up date is offered after cancellation, no refunds are provided. Guests will be notified via email early on the morning of this class if there is a cancellation.
